25th annual event, set for September 11 - 14, 2008 will showcase

- 1 out of every 12 vehicle-owning households in the U.S. own
an RV; in the 35-54 year-old age group, 1 out of every 9.
- The University of Michigan projects the number of RV owners
will rise about 15% by the year 2010, outpacing U.S. Household
growth by 5%.
- Recreational Vehicles (RVs) are vehicles designed as
temporary living quarters for recreational, camping, travel or
seasonal use.
- There are 5 types of RVs: motor homes, travel trailers,
truck campers, folding camping trailers and conversion vehicles.
- 8.9% of baby boomers, 34 - 54 years old, own an RV--catching
up with the 10% rate of America's age 55 and older.
- The average RV owner is 49 years old, owns their own house,
is married and has an annual income of $56,000.00
- Today's RVs have all the conveniences of home including:
expandable rooms, satellite systems, queen-sized beds, washers
and dryers.
- 92% of parents who own RVs believe that RVs are the best way
to travel with a family, 63% of parents who do not own RVs
agree.
- There are over 16,000 public and private campgrounds across
the United States, all available to RVs.
- RV vacations cost up to three-quarters less than traditional
vacations.
- There are an average of 30 million RV enthusiasts in the
United States.
- The 24rd Annual Fall RV & Van Show (R) is the largest in the
